
Sands China Presents Light the Night Run Donation Cheques to Two Local NGOs
MOP 100,000 each to Macau IC2 Association and Caritas Macau
(Macao, June 26, 2019) –
Sands China Ltd.
presented ceremonial donation cheques
totalling MOP 200,000 to two local
nongovernmental organisations June 19 at The
Venetian® Macao. The funds were
raised at April’s Light the Night Run
charity event at The Parisian Macao, with
Sands China topping up the total donation
amount with its own
contribution.
Macau IC2 Association and Caritas Macau each
received a cheque for MOP 100,000 Wednesday,
presented by representatives from Sands
China. The donations will be used by Macau
IC2 Association to sponsor its upcoming Art
for Community event, and by Caritas Macau to
allow its users with restricted mobility
gain free access to its stair climber
service.
It is the second year in a row for the Light
the Night Run to raise funds to donate to
local nongovernmental organisations as part
of Sands China’s corporate social
responsibility
efforts.
