Sands China Announces Bonus and Salary Increase for Team Members
(Macao,
January
23, 2020) –
Sands China Ltd. (HKEx:
1928) is paying a discretionary bonus to all
eligible full-time team members on Jan. 23,
2020, in recognition of their contributions
in 2019.
In addition, the
company is increasing the salaries of
eligible team members effective March 1,
2020, benefiting 99 per cent of Sands
China’s more than 29,000 team
members.
On January 23, 2020,
a discretionary bonus equivalent to one
month’s pay will be paid to non-management
team members who have been with the company
for one year or more. A discretionary bonus
will also be paid to all management team
members based on the company’s Management
Incentive Plan. Those who have worked for
Sands China for less than one year will
receive prorated bonuses if they joined the
company before October 1, 2019, and are
still employed on January 23, 2020.
The company’s salary
increase takes effect March 1, 2020.
Eligible full-time team members earning
monthly salaries less than or equal to MOP
13,000 (before tax) will receive a pay rise
of MOP 500, resulting in a salary increase
of between 3.8 and 4.7 per cent. Eligible
full-time team members earning monthly
salaries above MOP 13,000 (before tax) will
receive a 2 per cent pay
rise.
