Key Members of Senior Leadership at Sands China Ltd. Get Expanded Roles
(Macao,
February
27, 2020) –
Sands China Ltd. (HKEx:
1928), a majority-owned subsidiary of global
resort developer Las Vegas Sands (NYSE: LVS)
today made three key leadership
announcements the company says best position
it for success in the near-term and the
future. Dr. Wilfred Wong, who joined Sands
China in 2015, has extended his employment
contract while Grant Chum and Dylan Williams
have both been promoted to new roles. Mr.
Chum will now serve as executive vice
president and chief operating officer and
Mr. Williams has been named the company’s
general
counsel.
As president of
Sands China, Dr. Wong will continue his role
overseeing the company. He will also take a
more active role in developing the company’s
long-term strategic initiatives in Macao and
the Greater Bay Area. After having served as
chief of staff since 2015, Mr. Chum will be
responsible for the day-to-day operations of
the company. Mr. Williams, who has been with
the company since 2006, will oversee the
company’s legal and regulatory efforts as
its general
counsel.
