Sands China Wraps Up Successful Occupational Safety and Health Activities
OSH campaign encouraged safe habits and procedures for team members

Sands China Ltd. has
concluded a successful occupational
safety and health (OSH)
campaign held at its properties during the
month of September, in which the company
shined a spotlight on safe habits and
procedures with a series of activities that
took place between Sept. 2 and 25. The
campaign featured an OSH
Seminar, OSH game
booths, a
Stretching activity and an
OSH Master
Competition.

Sept. 2-4 at The Venetian Macao and Sands Macao, the OSH
Seminar covered topics that included integrated resort
industry health and safety tips and knowledge of OSH-related
anatomy to prevent strains and other injuries. Around 230
Sands China team members
attended.

Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central and The Parisian Macao,
with booths set up by the company and by the Labour Affairs
Bureau, the Macao Federation of Trade Unions, and the
Women’s General Association of
Macao.

at The Venetian Macao. The aim was to help make exercise a
habit for team members, and to minimise the risk of
occupational injuries or diseases. Through Sands China’s
first collaboration with athletic apparel brand lululemon,
the activity provided a fun stretching course conducted by a
professional instructor, with participating team members
going home with souvenirs and yoga
outfits.

challenged participants’ OSH knowledge and physical
strength. The competition gave team members a chance to win
prizes sponsored by the Labour Affairs Bureau and Sands
China.
