Sands China Makes Annual Donation to Tung Sin Tong

19th consecutive year of donations

(Macao, Nov. 27, 2022) – Sands China Ltd. donated MOP 600,000 to Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society at a cheque presentation ceremony Nov. 21 at The Venetian^® Macao, in support of the nongovernmental organisation's annual December-February fundraising campaign.

Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd.; Sam Chongnin, vice president of corporate communications and community affairs for Venetian Macau Limited; and Annie Lam, director of community affairs for Venetian Macau Limited, represented the company at the Nov. 21 ceremony, where they presented a ceremonial donation cheque to José Chui Sai Peng, president of the board of directors of Tung Sin Tong; Ho Weng Cheong, vice chairman of the board of directors; and board members Lei Chi Fong, Lei Kit Heng and Charles M. Choy.

Sands China has been making annual donations to Tung Sin Tong to support its fundraising campaign since 2004. Macau Tung Sin Tong Charitable Society was founded 130 years ago and has been offering free medical services, medicine, and education since the early days of its establishment in 1892.

Sands China's support of Tung Sin Tong is part of Sands Cares, the global corporate citizenship programme of parent company Las Vegas Sands Corp.
