Sands China Announces Discretionary Allowance for Team
Members

(Macao, Dec. 30, 2022) – Sands China Ltd. (HKEx: 1928) is paying a discretionary allowance, equivalent to one month's salary, to more than 23,000 eligible full-time team members on Jan. 18, 2023 – in gratitude of team members' dedication and contributions in 2022. A total of 99 per cent of Sands China's total employment is benefiting from either the discretionary allowance or the company's sales incentive scheme.

In a message to team members, Dr. Wilfred Wong, president of Sands China Ltd., said: "Sands China has established strong roots in Macao over the last 20 years. Looking back over those years, we have walked alongside each other, achieving brilliant milestones as we developed Sands China into the largest integrated tourism and leisure resort operator in Macao, thereby realizing the vision of the group. The company has also walked alongside the broader community, supporting Macao in any way we can through good times and difficult times, dedicated to driving economic diversification and fulfilling our corporate responsibility to give back to the community."

He added: "These special times have tested us over and over; however, we have no doubt that we will continue to demonstrate the ability to thrive and show the 'Sands China Spirit' of which we are so proud. In great appreciation of your effort, and on behalf of the company, I am pleased to announce that all eligible team members will receive a discretionary allowance, equivalent to one month's salary, on January 18, 2023."
