Sands China Team Members Win Multiple Awards at Macao's Sixth Vocational Skills Competition


(Macao, Jul 3, 2024) – Sands China team members performed exceptionally well in this year's sixth edition of the Macao Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprises Vocational Skills Competition held on June 27, taking home a total of eight awards.


A total of 24 Sands China team members participated in the competition, winning Gold Awards in Housekeeping, Hotel Room Facilities Maintenance, F&B Western Service, and Chinese Culinary, as well as a Special Gold Award in Gaming Customer Service.


Additionally, Sands China won the Best Self-Selected Dish award and clinched first runner-up (Group) and second runner-up (individual) in Chip Handling.


The sixth edition of the Macao Integrated Tourism and Leisure Enterprises Vocational Skills Competition was co-organised by the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) and the Macao Federation of Trade Unions (FAOM).


The competition covers three key areas: gaming, hospitality, and gastronomy, where industry professionals put on an impressive showcase of their vocational skills.
