Sands China Brings Back 'Amazing Summer' Activities for Team Members and Their Families

Seventh year of company's parent-child activity series for team members and their families

(Macao, Aug 7, 2024) – Sands China kickstarted its Sands China Amazing Summer 2024 campaign July 19 at The Venetian^® Macao's Cotai Expo, with an opening ceremony to launch the July-August series of fun activities for team members and their families.

Sands China Amazing Summer 2024 is providing team members with a series of exciting parent-child activities, including a fun fair, large-scale parent-child painting, art and science workshops, sports experience, storytelling, kids book crossing, and back-of-house property tours.

Now in its seventh edition, the annual Amazing Summer campaign is part of Sands China's ongoing commitment to the well-being and quality of life of its team members, both at work and at home. Over the past six years, more than 2,700 participants have enjoyed wonderful moments with their families at Amazing Summer activities.

Sands China Amazing Summer 2024 features:

• Sands China Summer Fair – Games, hairstyling and face-painting booths, and workshops on cooking, arts, and science
  
• Little Artist – Under the guidance of an instructor, families are able to make their own wind chimes
  
• Little Scientist – Kids can explore culture and learn to make a rotating lantern under the guidance of an instructor
  
• Shine Like a Star – Parents learn how to put performance makeup on their kids so they can shine like a star on stage
  
• It's Time to Work – Team members can explore the company's back-of-house areas with their children and introduce them to their workplace
  
• Little Tennis Star – Children can experience the fun of playing tennis while learning some basic skills and developing their hidden potential
  
• Picnic and Paint – Parents can escape the city with their children to customise their own little tent and enjoy a picnic experience together
  
• Story Explorer – Kids explore a new adventure through storytelling and get inspired to create their own handicrafts
  

Sands China is committed to building a family-friendly workplace, where team members and their families are taken care of. In addition to the Amazing Summer activity, the company has collaborated with the Macao Education and Youth Bureau since 2021 to promote parenting education among team members, through initiatives like Sands China's Parenting Education Programme, which aims to enhance team members' awareness and understanding of parent-child education. To date, the company has organised approximately 40 on-site parenting education programmes at Sands China properties.
